A berry small mouse house

After thinking about a big juicy strawberry all week, this little mouse closed his laptop and took a stroll to the farmer’s market. He made it all the way back lugging his deliciously juicy berry on his small back only to realize – Oh dear! It’s much too big to squeeze into his small mouse house.

After a comment on IG suggesting he share his big juicy strawberry with his neighbors, I just had to draw it. ❤️

This pair of illustrations is when I first got that feeling of I guess imposter syndrome? Like I didn’t actually make this, it just kind of came together on the page in a nice way. And it works somehow?

These were also illustrations that I feel like I put more detail into. I sometimes wonder if my illustrations are telling of the inner workings of my mind — a really kind of detailed mess, but it kinda makes sense in this abstracted way… vibrantly loud but simultaneously serene and still yet never stops moving.
